Tasting hours vary

We invite you to visit our state of the art vineyard and farm, which we farm using biodynamic principles.  We always allocate a portion of our wines for the tasting experience here on the property, allowing you access to current releases and rare bottlings.  We offer two options for your visit to the Estate: The Single Vineyard Tasting: The Littorai tasting experince tells a story of place and time, as each bottle reflects the grapes’ journey from the vineyard through the winery in a particular year.  As our wines are more influenced by vine-growing than winemaking, the nuances of terroir and vintage shine through.  Your host will take you through a selection of our Vineyard Designated releases.

Woodenhead Vintners

5700 River Road Santa Rosa, CA

The winemaking at Woodenhead is pure and simple or, if you will, Burgundian done California-style. Our wine is handcrafted from a hard labor of love in tune to the natural rhythm of the land, the water, the air, and the seasons. No mechanical pumping is employed. Inoculated yeast and malolactic cultures, hand punching, basket pressing, French oak, and California fruit is what you get. Small and unique lots are our goal, ultra premium wine is the result.

But Zin lovers stepping into our homey, unpretentious tasting room will find a dream come true.
