Annapolis Winery is a family owned winery surrounded by plush redwoods, nestled on a sunny hilltop with incredible views. Basil Scalabrini planted his first vineyard in 1978, replacing an old apple orchard. After farming for several years, Basil Scalabrini began making wine with no winery. The first wine was made in a redwood grove at the top of the hill, a 1986 Cabernet Sauvignon. It was great! Come visit Annapolis winery they offer picnicking and wine tasting from noon to 5 pm daily.
