DAY 1: - Sunday
Guests arrive for an early check-in at the Hyatt Fisherman’s Wharf located in the heart of famed Fisherman’s Wharf where guests will enjoy luxurious and contemporary accommodations with heated outdoor pool and whirlpool spa. Your hotel is located within walking distance of Pier 39 and the sights and sounds of San Francisco. The afternoon is yours to enjoy strolling up and down the pier and enjoying the shops, activities, Aquarium of the Bay, Exploratorium and of course the magnificent views of San Francisco Bay. Cyclists should check-in for a bike fitting and safety check.
A welcome wine and cheese reception will be held in the hotel’s premier wine bar Enoteca Musto.
This evening enjoy a fabulous dining experience at Alioto's Restaurant located on Fisherman’s Wharf with magnificent views of San Francisco Bay. Guests will enjoy the freshest of seafood at this popular venue along with a complimentary bottle of wine. D
DAY 2: – Monday
Following a hearty breakfast, you’ll head west along the waterfront to the Golden Gate Bridge. Cycling through Golden Gate Park you’ll begin your approach to the bridge as you wind up and ascend on to the bridge. Cycling across this iconic bridge offers amazing views of Alcatraz and Treasure Island. You’ll find plenty of areas to stop along the way to take pictures. Vista Point offers amazing views of the city and dramatic views of the Golden Gate Bridge from Marin County. As you continue cycling, descending the hilltops you’ll find your self in Sausalito an eclectic seaside village with boutiques, galleries and highly acclaimed restaurants. Sausalito is known as one of the most popular waterfront towns in the world. A popular destination for yacht clubs where vessels can be seen sailing the awe-inspiring waterfront offering undeniable views of the bay and the San Francisco skyline. Lunch will on the seaside pier at the Trident Restaurant where you’ll dine on a wide variety of mouthwatering seafood dishes and local wines. Established since 1960 this seaside restaurant was once the former Sausalito Yacht Club. Continuing along the off road scenic bike trail to the historic seaside town of Tiburon. Enjoy the magnificent views of the bay and the boutiques in this quaint town. This afternoon you may return via ferry back to Fisherman's Wharf and your hotel. Dinner this evening is on your own. DAY 3: – Tuesday
Following breakfast you’ll experience City by the Bay like no other. Departing from Pier 33 you’ll travel on Alcatraz Cruises circling the bay you’ll stop at Alcatraz for an inescapable experience. As you step back in time to experience this legendary island and one of the most notorious federal penitentiaries in US history. The memorable tour includes a 45 minute audio presentation titled “Doing Time” an Alcatraz cell house tour featuring actual correction officers and prisoners who lived and worked on the island.
This afternoon you’ll kayak the iconic San Francisco Bay offering amazing views of the San Francisco skyline and the bay bridge. Views of this magnitude are only experienced by kayaking the waterfront.
This evening you’ll view San Francisco by night including a guided walking tour and epicurean treasures dining experience in Chinatown. Following your walking tour the city illuminates at night with the glittering views via motor-coach of the Bay Bridge newest light show as you continue to Treasure Island for spectacular nighttime sights of the San Francisco skyline. DAY 4 - Wednesday
Following breakfast the adventure seekers will truly enjoy this day when you begin your day travelling by ferry to Angel Island for a cycling and hiking adventure of this captivating and historical bay area treasure. Accessible only by ferry Angle Island is a favorite of locals for a place to enjoy the peace and serenity. A picnic lunch will be provided for you as the island is a true nature park. The views from the tops of the hills are simply magnificent. So that you may enjoy the island at your leisure return by ferry. Dinner this evening is on your own. BL / Moderate Hiking
DAY 5 – Thursday
Experience the cultural and diversity that makes the San Francisco Bay one of the most desired cities to visit in the world. You begin your day with an uptown/downtown tour city tour highlighting this magnificent city by the bay. Venturing north of the Golden Gate Bridge where you’ll visit a timeless treasure known as the only old growth coastal redwoods in the bay area --Muir Woods National Monument for an adventure seeking hiking experience . Enjoy the solitude and peace as you stroll underneath the canopy of trees and embrace nature around you. Your hiking adventure will be followed by a bay cruise featuring the amazing San Francisco skyline. This evening you’ll enjoy a cable car tour to Union Square — a fashion lovers mecca. Flagship stores such as; Nordstrom, Williams of Sonoma, Levis and Bloomingdales are located near and around the square. Nearly two blocks around the square include designer fashions, boutiques, sportswear, lingerie, cosmetics, accessories and furniture from stores like Pottery Barn. The Cellar—gourmet marketplace and Williams of Sonoma are plentiful for culinary and kitchenware. This evening you’ll farewell dinner will be at the famed Cheesecake Factory high above the square. The Cheesecake Factory menu features more than 200 menu selection made fresh each day from scratch using only the highest quality ingredients.
